Allegra Chamber Music
For over two decades Allegra has presented its annual series of chamber music concerts to an enthusiastic public.
Much praised by the critics for their variety and the quality of performance, these concerts involve some of Montreal's finest professional musicians.
Allegra takes particular pleasure in introducing rising young stars to its audiences. This season, our series of six concerts will include piano, strings, winds and harp.
Unlike any other premier chamber music series in Montreal, despite increasing costs, Allegra does not charge admission to its concerts. Its large and loyal audience represents a wide range of ages, cultures and financial means.
In addition still more music lovers have been able to enjoy the Allegra concerts broadcast by the CBC and Radio-Canada, and specially invited student audiences have traveled to Allegra concerts from throughout Canada.
